Welcome to The Vale Business Forum

The Vale Business Forum was established to ensure that businesses in Dursley, Cam and along the Severn Vale have the opportunity to meet, support and work both with, and alongside each other. 

The Forum provides the opportunity for businesses to find out more from developers and planners about local developments, enabling businesses to feed back their views or discuss any issues that arise from such consultations.  Its working relationship with Stroud District Council facilitates consultation on local issues and involvement in budget planning and its statutory duties.  It has representation on the Rural Panel for Gloucestershire First, Stroud Local Strategic Partnership, the GL11 stakeholder group and Dursley Town Centre Group enabling up to date information on local, District and County issues.

The Vale Business Forum organises regular networking breakfast meetings where businesses can learn about what products and services are on offer in the local area.   These breakfast meetings allow all business types to make and develop lasting businesses relationships with other companies in the area.  Other business groups are invited and regularly attend these breakfasts providing a wider networking opportunity for our members.

The Vale Business Forum regularly organises visits to local businesses and other organisations of interest in the area.
